Science Teacher Socials

The rumors are true! After much anticipation, we are happy to announce the Boston Science Teachers' 2007-2008 “Science Socials”!

On the last Friday of each month, starting at 3pm, come join us as we relax, network, and enjoy the company of our dynamic BPS science colleagues at several restaurants across the city. Each month features a different neighborhood and different host schools. Thank you to the many teachers that offered location suggestions and hosting offers! We look forward to seeing you Friday!

Follow Up from 1/23 Meeting

Thank you to all of you who attended our 1/23 meeting.

Here is a follow-up on a few items:

* A group of us may try to attend the next School Committee meeting. The superintendent will be speaking about her "100 Days" report and her preliminary budget proposals. The meeting will take place at 6:00 pm at 26 Court Street, 4th floor next Wednesday, January 30th. It is recommended to arrive very early, as it is likely to be crowded.
*I heard from Thalia Theodore today in regard to a question of ownership of materials requested on Donors Choose. She forwarded this link, which gives more information: http://www.donorschoose.org/help/teacher_faq.html?q=205&zone=0
*Don't forget to start working on the Xerox Project!
